Avery Dame is a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland, and yesterday he gave his dissertation, in conjunction with the Maryland Institute for Technology and Humanities, or MITH, about the transgender "usenet," an online forum for trans-topics that has existed since the 1990s.

Phil Munds has been the Principal French Horn in the Baltimore Symphony Orcestra for 20 years, and has assisted in teaching the University of Maryland horn studio for the past three years. His students praise him for his musical ability and laid-back/easy-going teaching style.
